A brief history of the Hotel Brière

In 1627, the seigneury of Palaiseau was erected as a marquisate for Anne Antoine de Harville.
This leads to the creation of a notary charge. This charge was entrusted to Jean Brière from 1639 to 1660. In 1655, he was tax prosecutor and receiver of the land of Paloiseau.
François Brière succeeded him on March 23, 1655.
It was Jean Brière who built and lived in this mansion between 1625 and 1650.
